“Management” means the owners and managers of the Property.
“Guests” means the persons who stay overnight in the Property during the Booking.

ACCEPTANCE & RESPONSIBILITY:

CANCELLATION OR VARIATION:
As a small luxury farm stay business, we depend upon maximizing occupancy to remain viable and we can not absorb last minute cancellations.  If you wish to vary or cancel your Booking, please contact us immediately.

You may vary your Booking if you provide us with a minimum of 14 days’ notice.  It is not possible to vary your Booking with less than 14 days’ notice. A variation of the Booking which reduces the number of nights stayed will be a treated as a cancellation of the Booking in respect of those nights. The costs of the new Booking will be calculated based on the current rates at the time of the variation. Guests are required to pay any excess cost at the time of variation. If the variation results in a lower Booking fee Luna Lodge Tasmania will refund the difference, less a $50 administration fee. The first booking variation is free, subsequent variations will incur a $50 administration fee.

For cancellations with 14 days or more notice the full amount paid will be refunded less a $50 administration fee. For cancellations within 14 days of your arrival all monies will be forfeited. Bookings for the Christmas and New Year holiday period (December 24 to January 4) require 30 days’ notice of cancellation or all monies will be forfeited.  All cancellations must be received via email from the email address linked to the reservation.

We strongly advise that you take out travel insurance to protect yourself against unexpected changes to your travel plans.

In that instance, guests remain responsible for persons visiting. Breach of this condition may result in eviction with a full forfeiture of your booking payment.

RIGHT TO REFUSE OR REVOKE BOOKINGS:

Management reserve the right to revoke or refuse to honour any accommodation booking which may in the opinion of Management, (and at their sole discretion) be unsuitable for the property concerned. The same right to revoke or refuse a booking applies should details given of the guests prove to be inaccurate.

CHILDREN, INFANTS and EXTRA GUESTS:

Guests must be 15 years or older with at least one guest being an adult. Our domes are designed for two people looking for a unique, private getaway. As such, we do not have the capacity to accommodate extra guests. We can provide a complementary cot for a single infant (less than 18 months old) in our Tranquility Dome if requested at time of booking.

PETS:
Pets of any kind are not permitted at the Property.

WALKING ON THE PROPERTY:

To help with your safety please be aware of the following risks when enjoying our Property:

  • Waterways and dams – we have two creeks and six dams that are unfenced. The dams have steep banks and pose a hazard, particularly for children and people with poor swimming ability. Please exercise caution around waterbodies and, if with children, supervise them at all times.
  • Wildlife – you are welcome to walk around our property and enjoy the wildlife but please do not approach closer than five metres. We do have snakes on the property so care should be taken, particularly in warmer weather. We keep the grass mowed around the dome but please remain vigilant.
  • Farm animals – please only approach farm animals in our presence. We are happy to safely introduce you to any of our animals if you would like.
  • Rock walls – our property has a number of dry stone rock walls, many of which date back to circa 1923. Please do not climb on them (including posing for pictures on them).
  • Electric fences – We do have some electric fences on the property. For your safety, please do not touch any fences.

YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guests must comply with all applicable Luna Lodge Tasmania Rules and all instructions from Management and the caretakers of the Property concerning occupancy, property, health, safety and quiet enjoyment of the Property and our neighbours. Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund.

YOUR EXPECTATIONS:
Our Dome is more susceptible to weather conditions than other forms of buildings.  Luna Lodge Tasmania accommodation domes are large and substantial but they are still tents.  Bear in mind that if the weather is extremely hot outside, then it will be hot inside the dome.  Conversely, if it is very cold outside then it may be cooler in the domes.  While Luna Lodge Tasmania provide cooling and heating facilities, it may not always be possible to provide a temperature inside the dome tent which matches your expectation of what the temperature should be.  By accepting these terms and conditions, you understand and accept that you are aware of this and that no refunds will be given due to weather conditions.

PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS:
In the case of any problem or complaint, please inform Management at the earliest opportunity so Management has the chance to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. You must allow repair/service access to the property during reasonable hours. Any complaint, which cannot be resolved during your stay, should be notified in writing to Management. Failure to follow this procedure may hinder the ability of Management to rectify the problem or complaint. We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance since Management are not responsible for any injuries, illness or accidents that may occur whilst staying at the property.
